Title:
Sync openafs 1.6.22-3 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Status in openafs package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Please sync openafs 1.6.22-3 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* debian/patches:
- Linux-Test-for-__vfs_write-rather-than-__vfs_read.patch,
Linux-Use-kernel_read-kernel_write-when-__vfs-varian.patch: Fix build
errors with Linux kernel 4.14. (LP: #1727022)
- Include-stdint.h-in-volinodes.h.patch: Fix build failure due to
missing include in src/vol/volinodes.h.
These changes were added to Debian in 1.6.22-2 and 1.6.22-3.
Changelog entries since current bionic version 1.6.21-3ubuntu1:
openafs (1.6.22-3) unstable; urgency=medium
* Pull in upstream patch to avoid OOPS on linux 4.14 kernels.
(Closes: #884420)
* Pull in pending upstream patch to include stdint.h where needed.
This should allow Ubuntu to return to syncing openafs from Debian.
