Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* tests: Don't use xvfb, instead force the dummy SDL videodriver so
that racy SDL init won't fail the tests on qemu. (LP: #1679209)

As mentioned in the changelog below, the Ubuntu delta has been
included in the Debian package now.
