Bug description:
  After upgrading to 14.04, all function Zlib-related function calls
  (gzopen() etc) fail with "Fatal error: Call to undefined function
  gzopen() in ...". Function names with 64 added to the end to them
  (gzopen64() etc) work as expected.

  Distribution: 14.04 - 32bit version
  Actual package versions: 5.5.9+dfsg-1ubuntu4
