Thanks for the feedback Robie. As discussed in IRC I've corrected the
top-level LICENSE, the package now adheres to Debian Python Policy and
the package is now also non-native.

  Ubuntu MATE is an Ubuntu derivative that provides the MATE desktop
  environment. MATE is the continuation of GNOME2.
  
  A new application for MATE Desktop has been developed called `mate-hud`.
  It provides functionality similar to the Unity 7 HUD.
