  Merge 2.2.4 from Debian Sid

Status in multistrap package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  Upstream, multistrap got a new maintainer and some changes were made.
  We should merge these down to Ubuntu.

  The only remaining changes seem to be the following:
      - Fix references to the host apt keyring
      - Update Ubuntu examples to point at trusty, not lucid/maverick
