Bug description:
  Please sync gdal 1.11.3+dfsg-2 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

  Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
    * No-change rebuild for giflib soname change.
    * No-change rebuild for hdf5 soname change.
    * No-change rebuild for hdf5 soname change.
    * No-change rebuild for netcdf soname change.
    * Merge with Debian; remaining changes:
      - Cherry-pick upstream patch to fix compatiblity with poppler ≥ 0.31.

  This patch (including a fix to the one applied in ubuntu) were also
  included in 1.11.3.

  I have succesfully built gdal in a xenial pbuilder.
