Your right upstream doesn't have the patch, I will look into this
further I don't think my patch is right.

** Patch removed: "03-fix-double-free.patch"
   https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libimobiledevice/+bug/1454852/+attachment/4396999/+files/03-fix-double-free.patch

** Summary changed:

- Double free in afc_client_free() causes it to crash at boot
+ Crash at boot

Title:
  Crash at boot

Status in libimobiledevice package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When I have my iPod 5G connected to my computer via USB 3 ports (not
sure if that matters) upowerd crashes, viewing the stacktrace it
pointed to libimobiledevice and I fixed the issue, but then I also
looked at the upstream and they had the same fix applied. So this
patch should be included in Ubuntu. I don't have the stacktrace
because I don't know how to get the information back as I patched the
package locally and the problem went away.
