I built this locally then installed then installed with dpkg --install
the deps with apt -f install, it gave me this error:
MATE Settings menu not found in /etc/xdg/menus at /usr/sbin/update-mate-menu-welcome line 39.
dpkg: error processing package ubuntu-mate-welcome (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.21-0ubuntu4) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
ubuntu-mate-welcome
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Bug description:
I have created a new application specifically for Ubuntu MATE. It is
not suitable for Debian so I am requesting it is uploaded to Ubuntu
directly.
Ubuntu MATE Welcome is simple application that users will see when
they first login into Ubuntu MATE. It is designed to introduce them to
the system, help get the orientated and complete some initial system
updates and configuration.
* A welcome screen for Ubuntu MATE that provides links to helpful
resources and utilities.
