Title:
[needs-packaging] mate-tweak
Status in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Ubuntu MATE is an Ubuntu derivative that provides the MATE desktop
environment. MATE is the continuation of GNOME2.
Ubuntu MATE has been given the green light by the Ubuntu Technical
Board and Canonical IS have confirmed sufficient storage is available
to host the Ubuntu MATE images. As a prerequisite to integrating
Ubuntu MATE into the official build infrastructure some Ubuntu MATE
packages (currently hosted in a PPA) need to be uploaded to the
official Ubuntu archive.
* mate-tweak - Configures some aspects of the MATE desktop not
exposed via the MATE Control Center applets.
Settings that can be handled via MATE Tweak:
- Show/hide standard desktop icons
- Panel fine-tuning (icon visibility, in menus and on buttons,
icon size, button labelling, contex menus, etc.)
- Window manager fine-tuning
- User interface layout switching
