Thanks Jackson for the patch!  I've uploaded it to xenial with one tiny
change: you fixed Debian's double-build-depend on libsystemd-dev, but I
left that as is to reduce the delta.  Will close this bug when it lands
(I should have also added this bug's number to the changelog entry, but
forgot to).
