I just uploaded 4.1-8 in debian which also do what doko did years ago.
Wonder why he didn't upload this to debian instead.... -.-

simpletal (4.1-8) unstable; urgency=low

  * Team upload

  [ SVN-Git Migration ]
  * git-dpm config.
  * Update Vcs fields for git migration.

  [ Mattia Rizzolo ]
  * Use source format 3.0 (quilt).
  * Remove long useless debian/pycompat file.
  * Modernize packaging:
    + short dh format.
    + debhelper compat 9.
    + Build using dh-python instead python-support.  Closes: #786044
  * debian/control: bump standards-version to 3.9.6, no changes needed.
  * Run wrap-and-sort.
