Following a discussion on #ubuntu-release with Lane Lane, Didier Roche,
Oliver Grawert syncing MATE 1.10 packages from Debian unstable have been
approved because:

  * These package syncs will only affect Ubuntu MATE.
  * There is currently a mix of MATE 1.8 and MATE 1.10 packages in the 15.10 archive, this is resulting in segmentation faults and behaviour regressions.

  Changelog entries since current wily version 1.10.1-1:

  mate-desktop (1.10.1-2) unstable; urgency=medium

    * Merge-in various changes from 1.10.1-1~exp1. Due to a forgotten
      Git push action on my side, some changes had already arrived
      in Debian experimental, but not in the packaging Git.

      * debian/control:
        + Add D (mate-desktop): yelp.
      * debian/copyright:
        + Indentation cleanup, add more copyright holders for user-guide/*.
        + Add copyright attribution for man/mate-color-select.1 and man/mpaste.1.
      * debian/patches:
        + Add 1001_fix-mate-user-guide-desktop-file.patch. Add missing main
          category to Categories= field.
      * lintian: Add override for desktop-command-not-in-package (yelp).
      * man pages: Drop our mate-color-select.1 and mpaste.1 man pages. Now
        provided upstream.

    * debian/control (and others):
      + Add bin:package mate-user-guide to be more compliant with the way
        GNOMEv2 shipped its user guide and also ease upgrade paths in Linux Mint.
        (Closes: #793889).
    * debian/control:
      + Add versioned D (gir1.2-mate-desktop): libmate-desktop-2-17 (same
        version). (Closes: #795251).
