I'll upload the patch for Ubuntu now - we can always sync the package
from Debian again once it lands there.

  In Progress

Bug description:
  Hexchat 2.10.1-1 is currently FTBFS on all arches. This is due to the
  debian maintainer not updating ubuntu's irc defaults patch (only
  applied in ubuntu). The attached debdiff fixes this
