Bug description:
  Similar to Bug #1253825

  TEST CASE:
  1. Download an image of Lubuntu or Xubuntu Trusty Desktop
  2. Boot it
      $ qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 1G \
        -cdrom $HOME/iso/lubuntu/trusty-desktop-amd64.iso -boot d
  3. Select 'Try (L|X)ubuntu'

  EXPECTED RESULT
  System boots to a live session

  ACTUAL RESULT:
  On Lubuntu, user is dropped to a shell prompt.
  On Xubuntu, a login window is displayed.
