04:48 < infinity> ockham: So, a few things: (a) why the added ipython Recommends? (b) can you get it updated in Debian instead and ask for a sync?
04:48 < infinity> ockham: None of the upstream changes look like they need an FFe, it's just simple bugfixes.
04:49 < infinity> ockham: But the ipython Recommends is a bit heavy unless that one file/interface is a critically important part of the overall package. If it's not, I'd suggest dropping that to Suggests.
04:49 < infinity> ockham: And I'd definitely suggest forwarding any packaging improvements to Debian instead of forking in Ubuntu.

If the above is addressed (forwarding to Debian, re-evaluating the
Recommends), I'm fine with this FFe, though I'd rather see it as a sync
request from unstable than a -0ubuntu1.

Title:
  [FFe] Please update gourmet to 0.17.0

Status in “gourmet” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I've recently released upstream gourmet 0.17.0. I've also updated the
  Ubuntu package from 0.16.1 (attaching a diff for the debian/
  directory)

  @ubuntu-release: Please grant an FFe.
  @ubuntu-sponsors: Please upload to trusty.

  Rationale:
  This is mostly a bugfix release wrt 0.16.1 and fixes a large number of bugs reported for 0.16.1 and earlier versions.
  (The incremented minor version number is mostly for indicating that this includes a Windows version, where there hasn't been one long before.)

  Release notes are at
  https://github.com/thinkle/gourmet/releases/tag/0.17.0
