Thanks for the work, could you add a debdiff of the packaging only and a
link to the upstream tarball?

Note that this version has some issues and upstream rolled out a 2.10.9 with that note,
"Pidgin 2.10.9 fixes logins to some XMPP servers. Please upgrade! "

We should go directly for that version (Debian did the 2.10.8 update
btw, do you know if they plan to add the python3 support?)
