Ubuntu Studio 12.04.3 64bit
Fresh install on 2 boxes
Added:
Rhythmbox
vlc
pidgin
thunderbird
k3b
kdenlive
official updates
The Ubuntu Studio (xfce4) launcher menu (upper left with studio icon).
Just above "Log Out" is the Help icon. When I click on this on either
box, firefox launches and returns a 404 page.
Opened /usr/share in natilus; folder the help icon points to does not
exist.\
SRU request:
[Impact]
* Users will not be able to access any documentation for Ubuntu Studio,
since the link is incorrect. This causes confusion for users.
* The bug has been fixed in Ubuntu Studio 12.10 and later.
* We are backporting the same line only into 12.04.
[Test Case]
* In Ubuntu Studio 12.04.3 LTS, click on the Ubuntu Studio launcher on the top-left button.
* A menu appears, and select "Help".
* Before the SRU, Firefox (or your browser) will be launched, but
saying that it cannot find /usr/share/ubuntustudio-docs/index.html
* After the installation of the SRU package, Firefox (or your default
browser) should be able to browse our help wiki page, which is at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuStudio.
[Regression Potential]
* Regressions should be minimum, as we are only changing the execution method for the help.
* The exact line is used in Ubuntu Studio 12.10 or later.
* I myself have tested that it works.
* Though, if regressions do happen, I will fix it immediately.
[Other Info]
* We hope to fix this a.s.a.p (at least before Ubuntu Studio 12.04.4 LTS release).
