Just a short update to your reply, before i completely leave this
account :
When you talk about 'Ubuntu Quality', and see the reply I had saying i
just reported a 'pet bug' that had affected the whole puppet community a
few months ago, be sure that you all get the meaning of 'Quality' first.
The response i had from your colleagues was showing well the 'Quality
concept' at ubuntu teams for communication,As you didn't paste the
following of that conversation, i paste it here, as i find it's worth
being public :
(09:45:50) infinity: rustx: You might want to talk to rbasak (who is posting patches to the bugs). This channel isn't for bringing up your pet bugs.
(09:46:11) infinity: rbasak: PS, if you need a sponsor for things like that, you know where to find me. :P
(09:46:59) rustx: infinity : pet bugs ?
(09:47:49) rustx: if you call a SRU update a pet bugs .. well, maybe I don't exactly get what you mean
(09:48:15) infinity: rustx: Perhaps that was a bit too harsh, but the sentiment stands. This channel is for release co-ordination, and occasionally severely critical bugs come into that, but most bugs (SRU bugs or otherwise) are just noise here. If every bug had someone championing it in this channel, we'd not be able to speak.
OK, I was on a wrong channel, and I apologize for this : you won't see
me any more in ANY ubuntu channel.
But this is not a reason to make me think you are worrying about
'Quality', when your infinity friends find it fun to reply for you, so
that to make me leave the IRC . Is that what you call 'Quality' ???
Thanks to that comment, I can be sure now the smalll contributors will
be aware of the 'Ubuntu Quality' concerning communication to people.
Congratulations to Ubuntu teams ! Best Quality Communications Skills
ever !

Bug description:
On ubuntu 12.04 LTS, the official version for the facter package is
1.6.5-ubuntu1.
ii facter 1.6.5-1ubuntu1 collect and display facts about the system
The is_virtual? method is not recognized on last version of KVM,
because of the output of /proc/cpuinfo, which does not contains “Qemu
Server” Infos.
model name : Common KVM processor
The workaround was added in the next versions of facter, and so I
would like to provide you this patch, which fixes this bug on Ubuntu
