Title:
  Sync hdf5 1.8.9-1~exp3 (universe) from Debian experimental (main)

Status in “hdf5” package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  Please sync hdf5 1.8.9-1~exp3 (universe) from Debian experimental
  (main)

  Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
    * relax-version-check.patch:
      don't check the compile time patch version at runtime, this saves us
      a full transition when it is still compatible.

  They have been merged in the debian package.

  Changelog entries since current raring version 1.8.9-1~exp1ubuntu1:

  hdf5 (1.8.9-1~exp3) experimental; urgency=low

    * Support of ppc64 (Closes: #670266)
      Thanks to Hiroyuki Yamamoto for the patch.
    * Support of powerpcspe (Closes: #694427)
      Thanks to Roland Stigge for the patch.

      Thanks to Mike Miller, Rafael Laboissiere & Sebastien Villemot
