[Bug 1058380] [NEW] winff did not fully transition to libav in Ubuntu

You have been subscribed to a public bug by Paul Gevers (paul-climbing):

winff is a graphical frontend to ffmpeg. It does not have ffmpeg as a
dependency in Ubuntu 12.10.

If you install winff and run it, it complains it can't find ffmpeg or
ffplay.

If you then install ffmpeg, it works.
