Title:
  Broken (or missing) multiarch support

Status in Application menu module for GTK+:
  Invalid
Status in “appmenu-gtk” package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress
Status in “appmenu-gtk” source package in Precise:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  [Impact]
Anyone wishing to run i386 version of appmenu-gtk.

  [Test Case]
Install i386 in parallel with amd64 and attempt to run an i386 application linked to respective libappmenu.so

  [Regression Potential]
Rdeps passes initial build inspection and any runtime should be able to properly link to arch specific library. No code changes. Regression minimal.

I am running a i386 libreoffice on an amd64 precise system. I get
  following warnings:

  /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/menuproxies/libappmenu.so: falsche ELF-Klasse:
  ELFCLASS64

Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to load type module:
  /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/menuproxies/libappmenu.so
