Thank you for your work, the new cairo version got uploaded to raring this week though which makes the change deprecated.
I'm setting it the merge request to "Work in progress" to get it off the sponsoring list since I can't set it to rejected, it should probably be either rejected, deleted or set as merged (since the upstream patch is in the current version) though
