1. Description of the problem:
indicator-messages-service crashes after login if using pkcs11
authentication
2. Ubuntu release, software version, Release Number and Architecture
of the selected components.
12.04 LTS
indicator-messages 0.6.0-0ubuntu1
3. How reproducible is the problem?
100%
4. Steps to Reproduce:
4.1. Setup smartcard authentication.
4.2. Login to Ubuntu desktop using default settings
a. Actual Results:
indicator-messages-service crashes; apport popup appears; "envelope"
menu is empty
b. Expected Results:
Indicator loads normally, messaging menu can be used.
5. Known Workaround:
Patch attached.
6. Business Impact and customer deadlines:
PSE Customer is preparing large-scale (>3000 machines) deployment of
Precise. The indicator is not critical for business, but it would be
nice if it was available instant messaging, etc.
