The patch is trivial, test by the customer and works for them. This has
a very low probability of introducing any regression.

4. Steps to Reproduce:
4.1. Setup smartcard authentication.
4.2. Login to Ubuntu desktop using default settings
a. Actual Results:
indicator-messages-service crashes; apport popup appears; "envelope"
menu is empty
b. Expected Results:
Indicator loads normally, messaging menu can be used.
5. Known Workaround:
- None

PSE Customer is preparing large-scale (>3000 machines) deployment of
Precise. The indicator is not critical for business, but it would be
nice if it was available instant messaging, etc.
