Were tested to install and run.
Now that you have added the icon and .desktop file, it is now possible to launch from the Dash.
I think that depends on goldencheetah package does not exist, there is no impact.

  current version in precise,
  goldencheetah does not include the .desktop file.
  Therefore, can not run from the Unity Dash.
  This version is fix this problem.

  rebuild and run has been confirmed that works fine in my local
  machine.
