This bug was fixed in the package u-boot-linaro - 2012.02.2-ubuntu2

  * Mark u-boot-linaro-omap4-panda-splusb for Multi-Arch: foreign, so that
    this can be installed on non-arm hosts for USB-booting ARM boards.

Bug description:
  I have an x86 machine that I'd like to use as a USB host to my
  Pandaboards for USB booting. Allowing u-boot-linaro-omap4-panda-
  splusb:armhf to be installed using multiarch should be enabled.
