Thanks guys. There might be a small patch required that addresses a
small bug in Mellanox cards...ok to notify here or create a new

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Ubuntu Server 12.04 has biosdevname version 0.3.11. The latest stable
  release of biosdevname is 0.4.0 (http://linux.dell.com/biosdevname/)
  which needs to be updated for Quantal.
