Update:
Gnomeradio use default keyname lirc config if not exist lirc configfile (~/.lircrc). Here in code, keyname for keymap is old.
I update code to use current keycode mapping.
In attachment patch is two patches to resolve feature request from this
bug + to use current keycode mapping :
* debian/patches/gnomeradio-keyboard_shortcuts.patch: Added a new keyboard
shortcut 's' to stop recording.
* debian/patches/gnomeradio-keycode_mapping.patch: Use current keycode mapping
in default lirc keyname.
Thanks for report this.
** Patch added: "patch for this bug + use current keymap for default lirc"

Title:
Gnomeradio Feature Request: keyboard shortcut to stop recording.
Status in “gnomeradio” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Following is a actual table with available keyboard shortcuts:
Open the help F1
Start recording r
Mute/unmute the volume m
Quit Gnomeradio q
Scan forward f
Scan backwards b
Select next preset n
Select previous preset p
Increase volume +
Decrease volume -
Now to start recording, key assigned is 'r', but missing key for stop
recording. Would be very useful keyboard shortcut to stop recording
(likely key 's').
Thanks
