  I'm the upstream author of DAViCal (as well as the Debian packager,
  sadly).  A few days ago I released version 1.1.1 (and the closely
  related libawl-php version 0.53) which includes a number of important
  fixes to DAViCal.
  
  Notable fixes include:
  * Unassigned variable warning in Principal.php calling BuildDeadPropertyXML
  * Fixes to URL encoding of some CalDAV/CardDAV properties
  * Fix to Basic Auth handling in the administrative interface
  * Support for client devices running iOS6
  
  It would be great to see these packages make it into Quantal.
