I recently got back my adjusted patch (from my upstream bug report) to fix the package build problems with glib (all of which are properly suppressed now, as of 2011.12.20-562307-0ubuntu2).

I plan on testing it (after this proposal is approved), I just don't want to supersede the (working) packaging I have on my Virtual Test PPA.
