Thanks for the heads-up.

This requires some work. Ubuntu has local changes, which need to be carried forward. Quoting from changelog:
 * Update the libfam-dev build-dep to libgamin-dev instead.
 * Recommend on gamin than fam as gamin conflicts fam
 * Update README.Debian about the same.

I'll unsubscribe the sponsors team until somebody got around to working
on this.

Bug description:
  As the summary says, please import 2.2.13-4.1 from Debian.  It no
  longer depends on libpanel-applet2-0, so it can now be installed at
  the same time as gnome-panel without using --force-breaks.
