Title:
  Please sync Basenji 0.9 from debian unstable

Status in “basenji” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  The Basenji 0.8 release available in precise has some nasty bugs that
  have been fixed in Basenji 0.9 (available in debian unstable).

  In particular:

  - Frequent crashes because of unstable libextractor 0.5 dependency
  - Windows can't be closed in GNOME 3

  The 0.9 release has been tested in Basenji's unstable ppa for a couple
  of month without any bugreports being filled.

  Release notes:

  Basenji 0.9 mainly brings stability fixes - in particular Basenji's
  metadata backend, libextractor, has been replaced by taglib#. Being
  used by popular programs like Banshee and F-Spot for years, taglib# is
  a very well tested library that reliably serves metadata for image,
  video and audio files. Even if taglib# chockes on a file, it can't
  crash Basenji (like libextractor used to do) since it's completely
  written in managed code.

  * Migrated to taglib-sharp
  * Migrated to dbus-sharp
  * GNOME 3 improvements
  * Single binary build for MS Windows
  * Updated translations
  * Bugfixes
