Hmm, well, that's different to what I've learnt on IRC, thanks for
clarifying.

Not within the time restraints, I'm afraid. I'd need to learn how to do
it first, and chances are my first attempt would not succeed. So, unless
this is dead simple, could you help us there?

Title:
Sync megaglest 3.6.0.3-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

Status in “megaglest” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Please sync megaglest 3.6.0.3-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
    * README.txt confirms that this is for x86 architectures only (as forced
by the x86 assembly in the FPU routines). Changed arch field to match.
    * Don't build with -DMINIUPNPC_VERSION_PRE1_6=true as we have 1.6 in
      the archive.
    * MegaGlest 3.6.0.3 upstream fixes several bugs in 3.6.0.2 (but does not
introduce new features) and it would be a shame to have a less stable
version in an Ubuntu LTS release.

Changelog entries since current precise version 3.6.0.2-2ubuntu2:

  megaglest (3.6.0.3-1) unstable; urgency=low

    [ Mark Vejvoda ]
    * New upstream release
      - Fixes FTBFS on non-x86 architectures (Closes: #654283)
      - Fixes crash with some GPU/driver combinations (Closes: #653547)

    [ Paul Wise ]
    * megaglest should be priority extra since famfam is extra
    * Drop patches, they were applied upstream
