The bug description says

"Due to the package in the repository being so out of date, it doesn't
work with certain applications such as Mumble."

If that's false, can we update the description to remove it?

If it's true, and if it's also true, as comment #5 says, that the newest
is too new for mumble, then we need some other action to fix mumble
right?  Perhaps, as spice does, include the needed version straight into
mumble?
