This bug was fixed in the package paraview - 3.14.1-1ubuntu1

  * Merge from Debian.  Remaining changes:
    - debian/control: Adjust Build-Depends on libboost and libhdf5 for
      more Ubuntu-appropriate packages.
    - debian/patches/mpi-include.patch: Add /usr/include/mpi explicitly to
      the CMakeLists.txt file for VTK.

Status in “paraview” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  When I tried to install ParaView,

  sudo apt-get install paraview,

  I got informed that 4 other packages have to be removed,

  The following packages will be REMOVED:
    mayavi2 python-dolfin python-viper python-vtk

  Are you aware of this conflict? Can it be fixed?

  I'm using up to date Ubuntu 12.04.
