Bug description:
  Please sync mlt from debian unstable (0.7.4-3). MLT is an open source
  multimedia framework, designed and developed for television
  broadcasting and for example needed by kdenlive and OpenShot.  0.7.4-3
  brings many bug fixes, and is considered a "minor bug fix release"
  according to the author.  Version 0.7.4-3 also fixes some bugs with
  OpenShot 1.3.1-1, so it's highly recommended that we sync this
  version.

  Since FFmpeg forked and there were a few releases, there is no
  recommended version at this time. With that said, there were changes
  to accomodate the API changes with some moderate testing of the 0.6,
  0.7, and 0.8 series releases of both FFmpeg and Libav.
