Bug description:
  I simply clicked on one of the free fonts downloaded from Google
  (Cabin).  Fontforge consistently crashes with any TTF font.

  TEST CASE:
  1. Launch fontforge
  2. Open a TTF file

  Result:
  fontforge segfaults
