Status in “guichan” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  After upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10 some applications using the
  guichan libraries failed to run.  A typical error is as follows.

  legacy/legacy: symbol lookup error:
  /usr/lib/libguichan_sdl-0.8.1.so.1: undefined symbol: IMG_Load

  $ lsb_release -rd
  Description:	Ubuntu oneiric (development branch)
  Release:	11.10

  $ apt-cache policy libguichan-sdl-0.8.1
  libguichan-sdl-0.8.1-1:
    Installed: 0.8.2-5
    Candidate: 0.8.2-5
    Version table:
