Thanks for the debdiff. looking at your debdiff I find few issues:
1. Add LP: #778700 to your merge diff to automatically close LP bugs
while uploading
2. LPIA is a long goner and is no longer supported. Could you please
explain why do you reintroduce those changes? (Please contact Michael if
hildon related changes are general changes and not wrt lpia)
3. I find this:

Why are you putting in libgnomevfs2-dev twice in the ubuntu change when
debian has included the ubuntu change?
4. Please update the Maintainer field to reflect Ubuntu Developers as
Maintainer (you can use update-maintainer from latest ubuntu-dev-tools
for the same)

Binary package hint: contacts
The changes made in previous ubuntu versions are pretty important and cannot be ignored.
I imported as much changes as possible from previous ubuntu version.
The debdiff in the attachment can be used for merge.
