  FFE Justification:

  This provides an important maintenance fix for a segfault crash discovered
  by the upstream fldigi testing group (but no new features or functionality).

  The ubuntu-hams communtity uses and tests alpha releases of this
  package on an ongoing basis.  I am the Debian uploader for the
  package, and have tested the package extensively on Ubuntu as well.
