No, let's just sync this. The build works fine on a system with
multiarched linux-libc-dev nowadays (it was fixed differently, involving
upstream changes to klcc), and since we've abandoned the nascent ppc64
porting effort there's no longer a need to carry the ppc64-crt0 patch.
I agree with Andreas that none of the other changes are required either.
