[Bug 190860] [NEW] Please merge new upstream release of espeak with Debian unstable (main)

Binary package hint: espeak

Pleae upload this merged new upstream version of espeak with Debian.
Unfortunately, Debian is unlikely to get Espeak before feature freeze,
so I would like to get this version of espeak into Ubuntu hardy, as it
has many important fixes and speech improvements, as well as newly
supported languages.

Since it is a new usptream version, and the upstream author uses .zip
files, the package can be found here:
http://www.themuso.id.au/ubuntu/espeak/
