Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * debian/control: pass libraries to link with in LIBS instead of LD_FLAGS
    - fixes build with ld --as-needed (LP: #803200)
fix has been applied to debian

Changelog entries since current precise version 0.7-1ubuntu1:

sslsniff (0.8-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Explicitly add libraries to LIBS, fix FTBFS with --as-needed
    (Closes: #632090)
