Agreed that upstream is no longer active, it won't work with current
versions of gnome-panel, and there are no rdepends.  So it should be
removed.

But I will note that some people were still using it in netbook-
launcher-efl desktops.  So they will be sad to see it go, but unless
someone does the work to port this to the new panel, it doesn't make
sense to still carry it.

Bug description:
  Unless someone bothers to port this to the new gnome-panel, this
  applet no longer works. The code has been abandoned for the past year
  and a half since Unity superseded it.
