could it be built without the directfb depends rather? it's the only
depends on directfb in the default installation now

Status in “libsdl1.2” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released

Bug description:
Due an SONAME bump in directfb all packages depending on the old libdirectfb package are uninstallable.
It would be nice to rebuild some packages that have many reverse build-deps.
These are basically libsdl1.2 and cairo.
