I recently imported those mimetypes along with all the translations from Chrome, which itself came from Ubuntu (KDE and Epiphany).
Will be in the next upload.

Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed

Bug description:
Binary package hint: chromium-browser

Chromiums desktop file have some difference with Chrome one, like the WebBrowser category.
It would be nice to have the same.
