Status in “maxima” package in Ubuntu: Fix Committed
Status in “maxima” package in Debian: New

Bug description:
Binary package hint: maxima

Please merge maxima 5.21.1-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

Dropped patch:
* Use .shtml instead of .html to fix lintian errors.
I see no such lintian errors. doc-base files seem correct.
(Most shtml files are renamed to html during build)

Everything else seems sane (although I don't know emacs at all and can't verify). Forwarding to Debian.

New changelog entries:

maxima (5.21.1-1ubuntu1) maverick; urgency=low

  * Merge from Debian testing (LP: #FIXME), remaining changes:
    - debian/maxima-emacs.emacsen-install:
+ Install symlinks for source files rather than copying them. This
        makes find-function work.
+ Install symlink for *.lisp so that we don't need to add
        /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/maxima to load-path.
    - debian/maxima-emacs.emacsen-startup:
+ Remove use of /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/maxima, since this
causes load-path shadows and is not needed anymore.
    - Comment out backward-delete-char-untabify in maxima.el.
