timedate was removed from maverick a few hours ago:
  https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/timedate/+publishinghistory
  Deleted 3 hours ago by Jonathan Riddell
  (From Debian) ROM; superseeded by libtimedate-perl; Debian bug #586028

But libtimedate-perl isn’t there yet to replace it.  This made a bunch
of packages uninstallable including dpkg-dev!
