NOTES FOR A SPONSOR:
I am not making this change to the init file, since if the init file was being used to shutdown and start fetchmail up, then an /etc/fetchmailrc file would surely exist. In my case, it exists in the home directory, as I run it manually (and many other do the same).

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: fetchmail

This failure occurs when package is upgraded, but doesn't occur when freshly installed.

UPDATE: This fails for every user who doesn't have /etc/fetchmailrc in place.

WORKAROUND: Run sudo touch /etc/fetchmailrc
