Bug description:
This is an odd problem.  gcc on armel has designed that a GtkObject pointer (base class as returned from gtk_adjustment_new()) has different alignment characteristics than a derived GtkAdjustment pointer.  Since we can use the GtkObject base without recasting, I have modified ido_range_new to operate this way.  I am going to attach a patch for this.
